Guillermo Rodríguez Rodríguez – piano
Guillermo Rodriguez is a Spanish pianist born in A Coruña. His artistic activity has led him to perform on important stages in Europe and beyond, such as the Auditorio de Galicia, the Wroclaw National Music Forum, the Karol Szymanowski Museum,
“Aula Nova” Poznan, Musik und Kongresshalle Lübeck or the Kiel Opera. He has also been invited to international festivals in Spain, Portugal, Poland or Israel such as “Duetissimo International Piano Festival”, “Mikstury Kultury”, “Festival de Granada”, “Coimbra World Piano Meeting” or the “Tel Hai International Piano Festival”.
He has been awarded in numerous national and international competitions and collaborates regularly with the Galician Symphony Orchestra, La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra, Galician Youth Symphony Orchestra, Kalisz Symphony Orchestra and Orquesta Gaos.
Guillermo studied in Spain with Irina Moryatova and Ricardo Requejo, at the Academy of Music in Krakow with Andrzej Pikul and at the Musikhochschule Lübeck with Konstanze Eickhorst, always obtaining the highest qualification in the final recital. He is currently continuing his piano studies with the Serbian pianist Aleksandar Madžar.
He complements his studies by attending masterclasses with pianists such as Dmitri Alexeev, Stefan Arnold, Paul Badura-Skoda, Dmitri Bashkirov, Galina Eguiazarova, Claudio Martínez Mehner, John O’Conor, Victor Rosenbaum, Tamás Ungar, Aquiles delle Vigne and Tatiana Zelikman, among others.
